India played against Pakistan in a Group A clash at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and won by 61 runs. This win led to a huge celebration in the country and the social media was abuzz with fans cheering for Team India. Opener Ishan Kishan made 77 off 40 balls to propel India to 175/7 against Pakistan. The bowlers then wrapped up the job by bundling out Pakistan for 114 in 18 overs. While fans lauded the team, many celebrities also joined in and applauded the men in blue. Among the first to react was Ajay Devgn, who wrote on X, “This brilliant team makes winning look like a cakewalk. Kya khela hai (What a game)! (Raised hands and national flag emojis).”

Vivek Oberoi highlighted individual performances in his tweet and he expressed, “Ye mauka bhi..….gaya (This chance was also lost). Absolute mammoth 77 off 40 balls by Ishan Kishan and kicka** early wickets by @Jaspritbumrah93 and @hardikpandya7. My ears are ringing from my own screaming throughout the match! More and more power to our men in Blue! #IndvsPak.” Arjun Rampal posted a series of photos on Instagram and captioned them, “Done and dusted. What a fabulous performance to enter the Super 8s, congratulations men in blue, we love you. Special shout out to @ishankishan23 #harharmahadev happy #mahashivratri2025 #t20worldcup2026.” Veteran actor Anupam Kher shared a video moments before the match concluded. As India sealed the victory, he was seen laughing joyfully and chanting the Lord’s name as it’s the occasion of ‘Mahashivratri’. He captioned the post, “Har Har Mahadev! Hail Bholenath. #INDvsPAK.” Malayalam superstar Mammootty also congratulated the team and wrote, “Congratulations to the Indian Cricket Team on their victory over Pakistan at the ICC Men’s #T20WorldCup2026. A proud moment for the nation.”Anil Kapoor said, “And that’s how it’s done. Super proud @indiancricketteam.” Actress-politician Khushbu Sundar added, “And we win !!!! #India at the top, always.”
