However, hours before being arrested on Saturday, the man implied in a social media post that she died by suicide and went on to say that the world was calling him a killer, NDTV reported.

“Why didn’t you tell me what had happened? Why did you leave me? Why did you do this? The world is calling me a killer, Nikki,” Vipin wrote on Instagram at around 1 am on Saturday. His social media bio says that he is an advocate.

“Mere saath bahut galat ho raha hai tere jaane ke baad’ (I am being wronged since you left),” he added.

In another post in the Instagram story, the couple was seen smiling in a video, and their son was sitting with them.

“I am devastated (‘main barbaad ho gaya’). I am left with nothing,” the caption of the video said, NDTV reported.
