HOW TO PLAY SHILLONG LOTTERY?
Shillong Teer is conducted in two quick rounds, each lasting just two minutes. In the first round, expert archers shoot 30 arrows at the target, followed by 20 arrows in the second round.
Players place their bets by choosing a number between 0 and 99, predicting the total number of arrows that will hit the target. Tickets are available at authorised counters in denominations of Rs 1, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20, and Rs 50.
The prize depends on both the ticket value and the accuracy of the prediction. For example, a correct guess in the first round with a Rs 1 ticket earns Rs 80, while an accurate prediction in the second round wins Rs 60. Those who correctly predict the results of both rounds can win up to Rs 4,000 with a Rs 1 ticket.
In addition to Shillong Teer, other popular archery-based lotteries include Juwai Teer, Khanapara Teer, Ladrymbai Teer and Night Teer.
