A major development has emerged from Patna, the capital of Bihar, where Purnia MP Pappu Yadav is currently undergoing treatment at PMCH (Patna Medical College and Hospital) after his health deteriorated suddenly. Pappu Yadav was arrested late last night by Patna Police in connection with a 31-year-old case related to alleged illegal occupation of a rented property. Following his arrest, he was first taken to IGIMS Hospital for a medical examination and later admitted to PMCH due to worsening health conditions. He is scheduled to be produced before the court today, reportedly around 11 AM. The arrest has triggered political unrest in Bihar, with his supporters staging protests and clashing with police outside his Patna residence, leading to chaos and heated arguments. Pappu Yadav has alleged that the police arrived in civil clothes during the night, claiming his life was at risk and accusing authorities of targeting him deliberately. He further stated that the decades-old case is merely an excuse and that he is being targeted for raising his voice in support of a NEET aspirant. With tensions escalating, the situation is expected to further intensify politically.
