The war epic ‘Border 2’ has achieved a remarkable feat, crossing the Rs 200 crore mark within its first week. Early estimates suggest an Rs 11 crore collection on its 8th day, pushing the total earnings to an impressive Rs 235.25 crores. Despite facing competition from ‘Mardaani 3’, the film continues to draw audiences, with Jaipur showing strong occupancy.

The war epic film has officially completed its first week in Indian theatres and has fared well so far. The Anurag Singh film has already managed to cross the Rs 200 crore mark after dropping during the Republic Day 2026 weekend. Sunny Deol has managed to establish himself as a hero with the return of his 1997 classic, and the film is expected to steadily earn more over the next few days.

According to Sacnilk reports, ‘Border 2’ managed to collect Rs 11 crore on its 8th day at the box office. This number is based on early estimates and is prone to change. The film had managed to mint out Rs 30 crore and Rs 36.5 crore in its opening days in theatres. According to the report, the film’s overall earnings have managed to cross the Rs 230 crore mark. ‘Border 2’ has now earned Rs 235.25 crores within its first 8 days of release.

Occupancy rates for ‘Border 2’

As per the reports, ‘Border 2’ reported and overall 15.05% Hindi occupancy rate this Friday. The percentage showed a steady rise throughout the day as evening shows and late night shows were the most popular amongst the masses. Jaipur observed the highest occupancy rating at 23.75% with 193 shows playing across the city.

‘Border 2’ vs ‘Mardaani 3’

With ‘Mardaani 3’s release, Sunny Deol’s film is said to face some setbacks and competition in theatres. Rani Mukerji’s film has managed to garner Rs 3.80 on its first day in theatres; however, the numbers are expected to rise.
