Breaking News: Ajit Pawar to Be Cremated with Full State Honors in Baramati Today

Ajit Pawar’s last rites will be performed today in Baramati with full state honors. Members of the public will be allowed to pay their final respects from 9:00 AM. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP leader Nitin Naveen, and several senior political leaders will attend the funeral ceremony. Meanwhile, political controversy continues over the Baramati plane crash. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and leaders from the Uddhav Thackeray faction have raised questions regarding the incident. NCP chief Sharad Pawar urged leaders not to politicize the tragedy, calling it an unfortunate accident. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis strongly criticized those raising political questions, stating that politicizing Ajit Pawar’s death is inappropriate. Investigators have recovered the black box from the crash site. A forensic team visited the location and collected evidence, and CCTV footage related to the incident has also surfaced, aiding the investigation. In Parliament, the second day of the Budget Session is underway. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Economic Survey in the Lok Sabha today, while the Union Budget will be tabled on February 1. Protests against the new UGC regulations continue across the country, from Delhi to Bihar. The Supreme Court will hear the matter today. Separately, Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand launched a sharp attack on the BJP and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In Uttarakhand’s Vikas Nagar, a Kashmiri youth was critically injured in a brutal attack and has been referred to Dehradun’s Doon Hospital.
