Sabrina Carpenter to perform at the Grammy Awards 2026

Grammy Awards 2026: Sabrina Carpenter set to perform at music’s biggest night

Sabrina Carpenter is ready to set the Grammy Awards 2026 alight as the first confirmed performer. This will be her second turn on the iconic stage, following her show-stopping debut in 2025. With six nominations to her name, including the coveted Album of the Year, Carpenter is a force to be reckoned with.

Music’s biggest night of the year is coming close, and pop artist Sabrina Carpenter has been announced as the first performer. The Grammy Awards 2026 are set to air on February 1, and ‘Nonsense’ singer Sabrina Carpenter will grace the stage with her witty, pun-filled outros. This will mark Sabrina Carpenter’s second appearance at the award show after making her performance debut in 2025 with her songs ‘Please Please Please’ and ‘Espresso’.The ceremony will also be quite the evening for Sabrina as the 26-year-old is nominated for six Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Man’s Best Friend, as well as Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Music Video for her single ‘Manchild’.Shortly after the nominees were announced in November, with Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar leading the pack with nine nominations, Sabrina shared how honored she was to have been nominated alongside Justin Bieber, Bad Bunny, and more. At the time, Sabrina wrote on Instagram, “6 nominations. I am so floored and grateful. Thank you @recordingacademy.”Last year at the Grammys, Sabrina Carpenter bagged Best Pop Solo Performance for ‘Espresso’ and Best Pop Vocal Album for ‘Short n’ Sweet’. The ‘Please Please Please’ singer previously shared that after being a child actor and releasing five albums before Short n’ Sweet took off the way it did, it’s truly an honor just to be nominated. “I’ve always been true to myself,” Sabrina shared with People in 2025, before adding, “and believed in my work since I was young.” She continued, “I’ve realized that it’s always been about the small baby steps that you take over time to get you to this point.”“There are moments in everyone’s life where the stars align. But it wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t spent the last few years working so hard. Not for these things that are happening now, but just working so hard to feel true to my own voice and excited about the things I’m making,” she shared with Paper Magazine in 2024.
