'Dhurandhar' box office collection Day 47: Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna starrer inches closer to Rs 1,300 crore mark

‘Dhurandhar’, the spy action thriller, starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles, maintained its grip over the ticket windows, after sliding down to the Rs 1 crore range. The film that took a dip and hit its lowest collection to date, managed to hold on and maintain a steady graph on Tuesday.

As per early estimates reported by Sacnilk, the film that hit a new low on its seventh Monday at the Indian box office, earning around Rs 1.50 crore. Tuesday’s collections proved that the film has what it takes to maintain a steady graph even on day 47, when it added another estimated Rs 1.50 crore to its kitty.

‘Dhurandhar’ week 7 collections

The film that started its seventh week with a collection of Rs 1.75 crore, saw good growth at the box office, almost doubling its collections to earn an estimated Rs 3 crore and Rs 3.75 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The film’s current week 7 total has hit an estimated Rs 11.5 crore. With two more days still to go before it ends another successful week, it remains to be seen if the film can hit the Rs 15 crore mark. The film has already set a new box office record and taken its place on the top of the list of the highest seventh-week collections for a Hindi movie. ‘Stree 2’ previously held the record with a collection of Rs 9.35 crore.

‘Dhurandhar’ beats competition

Despite the dip in collections, ‘Dhurandhar’ has entered its final leg at the box office maintaining a lead over the other films like ‘Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos’, ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’, ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’, ‘Ikkis’ and ‘The Raja Saab’. Although showing signs of slowing down, the film has been maintaining its grip over the ticket windows and scoring higher than the other film releases. Go to Source
