Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently sent Panchayat fans into a frenzy when he shared a special Instagram reel featuring actors Ashok Pathak and Durgesh Kumar, known for playing Binod and Bhushan in the hit web series. The video quickly went viral, with fans particularly delighted by the use of the show’s iconic background music in the clip.Now, Ashok Pathak has opened up about the memorable encounter, describing it as one of the proudest moments of his life.

‘I am still processing all the love’

In an interview with India Today, Ashok revealed that he has been receiving countless congratulatory messages ever since the Prime Minister shared the video on social media. The actor said he never imagined a simple interaction would receive such widespread attention.The reel, which PM Modi captioned, “A few moments with Binod,” struck a chord with fans across the country.Speaking about the experience, Ashok said, “For any Indian, it is a matter of immense pride when the Prime Minister appreciates your work. The warmth with which he met us and later shared the video himself made the moment even more special. It felt wonderful to see the love that audiences have given Panchayat being acknowledged at such a level.”

PM Modi’s opening remark had everyone laughing

While the interaction was brief because of the Prime Minister’s busy schedule, Ashok revealed that PM Modi instantly lightened the mood with a line that every Panchayat fan would recognise. “The moment he met us, he smiled and said, ‘Sun raha hai na Binod?’ Everyone burst out laughing,” Ashok shared.The actor said the meeting became even more meaningful because of what it meant to his family back home.”I come from a small village, and when my father learnt that I was going to meet the Prime Minister, he was overjoyed. It was a proud and emotional moment for my entire family,” he said.

Ram Charan’s praise made the day even more special

Apart from meeting PM Modi, Ashok also got a chance to interact with actor Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela during the event.The actor revealed that the couple spoke warmly about Panchayat and expressed their admiration for the series.”Ram Charan and Upasana ji told me how much they enjoyed watching Panchayat. Hearing that from them was very special and made the experience even more memorable,” he said.Ashok also shared an interesting behind-the-scenes detail about Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi, revealing that he has dubbed the Hindi dialogues for a character named Kurmaiya in the film.

Fans await Panchayat season 5

On the work front, Ashok Pathak and Durgesh Kumar are expected to return in Panchayat Season 5. The popular series will also feature Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik and Jeetendra Kumar reprising their roles. Go to Source
