‘Steal’ OTT release: All you need to know

'Steal' OTT release: Plot, release date, streaming platform, know all about Sophie Turner’s heist thriller

Sophie Turner is back on the screen, and this time, she is ‘steal’ing the limelight with a thrilling conquest! This time, Sophie is front and center in a slick new heist thriller called ‘Steal.’ People have been buzzing about this one for a while, and now it’s finally dropping on a popular OTT platform on January 21, 2026. You want tension? Twists? A little moral messiness? ‘Steal’ has all of that, and Turner leads the charge.

‘Steal’: What’s it all about

The story of ‘Steal’ kicks off with Zara (that’s Sophie Turner), who’s just another office worker until her day takes a wild left turn. Out of nowhere, a gang of armed thieves barges into her workplace — a pension fund investment firm in London. On one hand, Zara’s a dedicated employee answering emails, and then, the next moment, she’s fighting to survive. Things unravel fast: danger, betrayal, and those awful choices you hope you never have to make.Set in the chaos of present-day London, ‘Steal’ isn’t just about crooks and cops. It’s about regular people getting shoved into impossible situations. Money problems, fear, those gut-check moments about right and wrong — they all collide. Zara and her friend Luke find themselves tangled up in the thieves’ plans, and suddenly, staying alive means making decisions they never thought they’d face. The show doesn’t just crank up the suspense; it digs into what people will actually do when everything falls apart.Turner brings serious depth to Zara — if you’ve seen her as Sansa Stark in ‘Game of Thrones,’ you know she can handle complicated characters. She’s joined by Archie Madekwe, who plays her loyal friend Luke, and Jacob Fortune-Lloyd as DCI Rhys, the detective on their trail. The series was created and written by Sotiris Nikias, with Sam Miller and Hettie Macdonald directing. The trailers promise a gritty, fast-paced ride: bold visuals, tense standoffs, and those moments that make you forget to breathe.
