Shahid reveals how he wants kids Misha and Zain to grow

Shahid Kapoor reveals how he wants kids Misha and Zain to grow: ‘Want them to stay as close to normalcy’

Shahid Kapoor shields kids Misha and Zain from fame, prioritizing normalcy despite his stardom. In an interview, he shares minimal talks on celebrity life as they grow aware. He avoids the “star” label to stay authentic. Next, he stars in Vishal Bhardwaj’s O’ Romeo, releasing February 13.

Shahid Kapoor takes deliberate steps to shield his daughter Misha and son Zain from public attention. He understands they will eventually recognize his fame as a star, yet he prioritizes providing them a regular, grounded childhood. With his wife Mira Rajput, a businesswoman, he parents these two kids. Son of actors Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem, Shahid ensures his family avoids the excesses of stardom.

Talking stardom with children

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Shahid shared if he’s discussed his celebrity status and its challenges with his kids. “I want them to stay as close to normalcy as they can… But beyond the point, it is what it is. As they grow older, they will become more aware, but we don’t do anything to bring it up. If any questions come up, we try to answer them in the best way that we can as parents; that’s it. It is what it is,” said Shahid.

Staying true amid stardom

Shahid actually chooses to distance himself from the “star” tag. He confesses that stardom feels like too much at times and can make anyone forget who they really are in the midst of all the hype. He said, “The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that authenticity comes from knowing yourself deeply and not trying to fit into anyone else’s expectations. Fame can be overwhelming, and it’s easy to lose sight of who you are amid all the noise. Staying true to my values, staying connected to my family and close circle, and focusing on the work rather than the hype have helped me stay grounded. At the end of the day, being real with yourself is the only way to sustain any kind of success or happiness. ”.

Upcoming film release

On the work front, Shahid Kapoor is set to return to theatres with Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘O’ Romeo’. The action drama also stars Nana Patekar, Vikrant Massey, Avinash Tiwary, Disha Patani, Triptii Dimri, and others. Written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj with Rohan Narula as co-writer, the Sajid Nadiadwala-produced film hits screens on February 13. Go to Source
