The elections for all the municipal corporations in Maharashtra are being held today. In Mumbai, Akshay Kumar and his wife, Twinkle Khanna, stepped out early in the morning to cast their vote for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) polls. Now, several actors are arriving at their respective polling centers in Mumbai. Suniel Shetty, Sanya Malhotra, Hema Malini, Vishal Dadlani, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sonali Kulkarni, Gulzar, Nana Patekar, Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan, son Junaid Khan, and ex-wives Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta were seen outside polling centers as they came to exercise their right to vote. John Abraham arrived with his old parents, showcasing how he always performs his civic duties. Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar was also seen at the voting center.










After exiting, Akshay Kumar talked to the media and said, “So, now it’s our turn, and we all should step out and vote to elect the right person. If you want to be the real hero of Mumbai, then instead of dialogues, you should come and vote.”Meanwhile, his wife, Twinkle Khanna, expressed, “It gives us a sense of control, a little bit of power over the narrative. I’m voting out of habit and hope.”Veteran actress-politician Hema Malini said, ‘I urge everyone to come out and vote. Just like I came this morning to vote. If you want security, progress, clean air, and pothole-free roads in Mumbai, then we all have to take responsibility and vote.”Nana Patekar, who cast his vote today, said, “I understand that the sign of my existence is to vote, and for this, I travelled 3-4 hours (from Pune), and I am returning immediately. So please do vote.”In Mumbai, the electoral battle is between the BJP-led Mahayuti and the alliance of cousins Raj and Uddhav Thackeray for control of the financial capital of India.
