Anti-Khalistani activist Harman Singh Kapoor says his London home was 'vandalised' and police failed to respond: 'Not doing their job...'

Harman Singh Kapoor shared CCTV footage of his property on social media where goons were attacking his cars

A UK-based Sikh activist who has previously spoken out against Khalistani extremism has claimed his London home was attacked multiple times within an hour while police failed to respond.Harman Singh Kapoor posted a series of urgent messages on X on Friday asking for help from the public, saying his property had been vandalised repeatedly and accusing the Metropolitan Police of refusing to attend despite his calls. Kapoor was out of the country, but he asked for the safeguarding of his family as goons smashed windows of his cars parked outside. “I need patriots to come to my home for protection as the UK Metropolitan city is not doing their job,” Kapoor said in his first X post. “My house was attacked twice within one hour, even after I contacted them.”In a second post shortly after, Kapoor said the situation had worsened and even shared the CCTV footage of masked goons vandalising his property: “Shame on you UK police. I insisted that you visit my property, but you refused. Now my home has been attacked again twice in the span of one hour. What are you waiting for?”He later accused police of still failing to respond. “Useless British police force. It’s been more than two hours, and UK police has failed to respond or send anyone to my house, which has been under attack multiple times today.” Kapoor later confirmed in a fourth post that help had finally arrived: “Patriots gathered outside my house. Thanks a lot for helping in time of need.”

Who is Harman Singh Kapoor?

Kapoor is known for publicly criticising radical Khalistani elements within the Sikh community. He has previously said that his views have made him a target for threats and attacks.Kapoor runs a restaurant in London. In 2023, he claimed his car was shot at and vandalised in West London after he posted a video criticising the Khalistan movement. At the time, social media accounts linked to British Indian groups said his family had received death threats and rape threats. UK police did not issue a formal public statement confirming the claims. That same year, Kapoor said his restaurant was attacked days after the Indian High Commission in London was vandalised. He alleged that attackers demanded he remove his video, raise pro-Khalistan slogans and burn the Indian flag or face death.“Our address was put online with calls to rape and kill them,” Kapoor said previously, adding that his wife and daughter were targeted with threats, according to Bitter Winter, a magazine on religious liberty and human rights.UK-based journalist Charlotte Littlewood also posted in 2023 that Kapoor’s family was awaiting police help during an ongoing attack.
