An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale struck Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday afternoon at 1:41 pm, reported by the National Center for Seismology (NCS).

The quake was located at Kupwara, with a depth of 5 kilometres.

On Wednesday, an earthquake of magnitude 3.5 hit Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district.

According to the seismic data released by the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake’s epicentre was located 5 km below the surface in the Doda region.
