President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday hailed women’s empowerment in the country and said that they are moving forward in every field on their own and providing leadership.

Her remarks came while virtually addressing the SheShakti 2025 event in the national capital.

“In roles as scientists, engineers, doctors, soldiers, artists, entrepreneurs, athletes, educators, social workers, policymakers, and many others, women are achieving new milestones every day. They are no longer waiting for opportunities to come their way; they are moving forward on their own and leading with firm confidence,” she said.
