The Delhi high court on Tuesday granted conditional bail to expelled BJP leader Kuldeep Singh Sengar and suspended his jail sentence in the Unnao rape case. A bench of justices Subramonium Prasad and Harish Vaidyanathan Shankar suspended Sengar’s sentence for the duration of the pendency of his appeal challenging his December 2019 conviction and life sentence awarded by a trial court.
