As ‘Jana Nayagan’ remains Thalapathy Vijay’s last film, music composer Anirudh Ravichander shared an emotional message from the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister after working on his latest release. The musical genius shared his gratitude to Vijay for the trust and wonderful memories they created together over the years.

Anirudh Ravichander took to his X handle to share a post including a picture with Thalapathy himself. The still is from the song ‘Thalapathy Kacheri’ where Anirudh makes a special appearance in ‘Jana Nayagan’.With the picture he wrote, “It has been a thoroughly amazing and emotional journey with you through JanaNayagan, Leo, Beast, Master and Kaththi. Thank you @actorvijay sir for the unlimited trust and memories that I will cherish forever. The music lives on.” ‘Jana Nayagan’ marks the fifth collaboration between Anirudh Ravichander and Vijay. Before this film, the duo worked together on ‘Leo’, ‘Beast’, ‘Master’ and ‘Kaththi’. Their films have delivered several popular songs and background scores that have become fan favourites.

Speaking about ‘Jana Nayagan’, the film has minted a total India gross collections of Rs 145.98 crore and total India net collections to Rs 124.75 crore. Meanwhile, the worldwide collection stands at Rs 217.48 crore as per trade analyst Sacnilk.

Talking about ‘Jana Nayagan’, tells the story about Vijay’s character who is seen as a former police officer, who adopts a girl named Viji played by Mamitha Baiju. She is seen as a traumatized girl whom he protects and encourages her to become an army officer while confronting the villain of the story who is plotting against India’s democracy.The film stars Bobby Deol as the main antagonist with Pooja Hegde and Mamitha Baiju as female leads. The film also features Nassar, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Narain and Priyamani in important roles.
