After Niddhi Agerwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu gets mobbed by fans

After Niddhi Agerwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu gets mobbed by fans at a public event, netizens react and call it 'pathetic'

Just days after actor Nidhhi Agerwal was jostled and mishandled by fans at a song launch for ‘The Raja Saab’, another troubling incident involving a female star unfolded in Hyderabad. On Sunday, Samantha Ruth Prabhu faced a similar situation when she arrived to attend a public event, where the overwhelming crowd made movement nearly impossible.Videos circulating widely on Reddit and Instagram show Samantha dressed in an elegant silk saree, attempting to make her way from the stage to her vehicle. Despite being surrounded by security personnel, the sheer size of the crowd posed a serious challenge, forcing her team to struggle as they cleared a path. Throughout the chaos, Samantha remained calm, smiling and composed as she was escorted out.The incident sparked strong reactions online, with many users calling out the lack of civic sense displayed by attendees, especially when it comes to women in the public eye. One user simply wrote, “Pathetic.” Another questioned, “Why fans don’t understand boundaries even after rajasaab incident?”Others also pointed fingers at event organisers and celebrity management teams. A comment read, “Why is their management never prepared for these things when they know how common it is.” Another user highlighted the recurring nature of such incidents, stating, “Many incidents happened lives are lost to see celebs, Allu Arjun Hyderabad, Virat &RCB, Bangalore,Vijay rally, Tamil Nadu, yet ppl’s mad obsessive worship for celebrities don’t change in South. They either harm themselves or the celeb in these events. Celeb devotion is on another level in South.”On the personal front, Samantha recently married filmmaker Raj Nidimoru on December 1 in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family. The actor shared the happy news through a heartfelt social media post, offering glimpses of their wedding, which was conducted as a Linga Bhairava Vivaha at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore. On work front, Samantha is collaborating once again with Raj & DK on the upcoming series ‘Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom’. The project also features Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi and Jaideep Ahlawat. Currently under production, the series is slated for a 2026 release.
