Megyn Kelly reacted strongly after new details came out about Tyler Robinson and his parents. Writing on X, Kelly shared the update and how Robinson was turned in. She wrote, “ICYMI: this is how Tyler Robinson was turned in. Also his parents are now conducting virtual visits.”According to The Post Millennial, this reaction came after NewsNation reporter Brian Entin shared new information in the case tied to the killing of Charlie Kirk. The report says Tyler Robinson’s parents are now having virtual visits with their son while he is in jail. These visits are not face to face. They happen on tablets inside the jail. The case has drawn wide attention because of how Robinson was identified and turned in by his own parents. Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed on September 10 while hosting a campus event at Utah Valley University. Two days later, on September 12, police took 22-year-old Tyler Robinson into custody. Investigators say his parents played a major role in alerting police.

Tyler Robinson’s parents helped turn him in after FBI photos, says Brian Entin

According to The Post Millennial, NewsNation Senior National Correspondent Brian Entin confirmed that Tyler Robinson’s parents are now in touch with their son through virtual jail visits. Entin said, “Now, I’ve confirmed through sources that his family has been having virtual visits with him in jail, with Tyler Robinson in jail.” He added that in-person visits at the Utah jail “don’t really happen very much” and when they do, “they happen behind glass.”Entin also explained how Robinson was identified. Court documents show Robinson confessed to his father after FBI photos of the suspect were released. Entin said Robinson’s father told police that when his wife showed him the surveillance image on the news, “he agreed it looked like their son.” The father also believed the rifle police were looking for matched one he had given his son as a gift. The father then asked Tyler Robinson to send a picture of the rifle, but Robinson did not reply. Later, Robinson’s parents convinced him to come to their home. There, Robinson “implied that he was the shooter and stated that he could not go to jail and just wanted to end it.”Brian Entin said the parents pushed Tyler Robinson to talk to a family friend who is a deputy sheriff. That deputy then convinced Robinson to turn himself in at the sheriff’s office. Robinson allegedly told his parents he acted because “there is too much evil and the guy,” referring to Charlie Kirk, “spreads too much hate.”Also Read: Megyn Kelly Calls Jimmy Kimmel’s Wife A Victim Player After Controversial Free Speech Remarks
