War update: Iran Claims Over 200 U.S. and Israeli Targets Attacked

The ongoing conflict between Iran, Israel, and the United States has entered its ninth day, with intense military and political developments unfolding. Military experts say that reports about sending special forces to seize Iran’s nuclear facilities are “easier said than done,” though such operations are not impossible. According to analysts, under the international law of armed conflict, operations such as “hot pursuit” can be conducted during a declared war, allowing strikes deep inside enemy territory. Experts suggest that before any ground operation, key Iranian military capabilities—such as air power, missile defense systems, missile production sites, and drone infrastructure—would likely be targeted and neutralized. Potential strategic areas include locations near the Strait of Hormuz and Qeshm Island, where Iran is believed to have hidden submarines and military facilities. Meanwhile, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that Iran is prepared for a prolonged conflict and can sustain the war for up to six months. The IRGC also claimed that Iran has already attacked more than 200 American and Israeli targets and warned that more advanced long-range missiles may soon be used. On the battlefield, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported major airstrikes on Iranian military sites. According to Israeli claims, Iranian Grumman F‑14 Tomcat fighter jets were destroyed during strikes on Isfahan International Airport and Mehrabad International Airport. Israeli forces said multiple aircraft were targeted as part of efforts to weaken Iran’s air defense and air combat capabilities. With continuous strikes and counterstrikes, analysts warn that if ground troops or special forces are deployed inside Iran, the conflict could escalate dramatically and turn into a much longer and more dangerous war.
