Singer-rapper Badshah is all praise for Dhurandhar and its sequel Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, headlined by Ranveer Singh. The musician recently shared his glowing review of the films, calling them a bold step forward for Indian cinema.

‘You don’t watch it, you experience it’

Taking to Instagram Stories, Badshah wrote that the Dhurandhar films go beyond conventional storytelling.“They said, ‘You are not ready for this,’ and boy were they right. Dhurandhar 1 & 2 aren’t just films; they’re a statement. A bold reminder that Indian cinema is stepping into a new era. Fearless, experimental, and unapologetically original,” he shared. The rapper further emphasised the immersive quality of the films, praising both their storytelling and music.“You don’t watch Dhurandhar; you experience it. And once you do, there’s no going back to ordinary cinema. Music has elevated the film; film elevated the music. This is no nonsense. This is pure style,” he wrote, adding that he has lost count of how many times he has revisited the film and its scenes.
