War Update: 14 Days of Middle East Conflict – Iran Strikes, US & Israel Retaliate

The 14th day of the escalating Middle East conflict has seen a relentless cycle of attacks and counterattacks. The war began on February 28, and since then, tensions have intensified across multiple fronts. Iran has launched a series of ballistic missile and drone strikes targeting US and Israeli bases, including a recent attack on the southern Israeli city of Eilat, triggering air-raid sirens, though no casualties have been reported so far. In parallel, Iran deployed 50 explosive-laden drones towards Saudi Arabia, with Riyadh claiming it intercepted 10 of them, demonstrating the continued volatility in the region. This 14-day war has resulted in the firing of at least 44 separate strike missions by Iran, extending across Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and various US and Israeli positions in the Middle East. The conflict has captured global attention due to the strategic and economic ramifications, including disruptions in oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz. Amid this, political leaders worldwide are monitoring the situation closely, with international calls for diplomacy intensifying. The situation remains highly fluid, with both sides showing no signs of backing down, and the ongoing hostilities serve as a stark reminder of the fragility of regional stability in a densely militarized and energy-critical zone.
