Trump Tells Europe ‘Have The Courage, Go To The Strait And Just Take The Oil’

US President Donald Trump has said countries affected by fuel disruptions through the Strait of Hormuz should secure supplies on their own.

In a post, Trump said nations unable to access jet fuel should either buy from the United States or “go to the Strait and just take it”. He also criticised countries such as the United Kingdom for not supporting recent US-Israel military action involving Iran.

He added that the United States would not be there to help, saying other countries would need to “start learning how to fight for” themselves.

Trump also claimed Iran had been “essentially decimated” and said the “hard part is done”, urging countries to secure their own oil.
