Strike Alert: Basra Oil Hub Ablaze as Iran Claims US Jet Hits

The war involving Iran, United States, and Israel has entered its 36th day, growing increasingly intense and dangerous. A major development includes a drone attack on an oil complex in Basra, Iraq, which caused a massive fire and thick smoke, highlighting the widening scope of the conflict. Iran has claimed it shot down two US fighter jets, while Donald Trump stated that such incidents will not affect negotiations. Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that 70% of Iran’s military strength has been destroyed, though Iran continues its aggressive operations. A proposed 48-hour ceasefire by the US was rejected by Iran, and mediation efforts by Pakistan and Qatar have failed. Global food prices are rising, as warned by United Nations. Meanwhile, the US plans a major defense budget increase. Iran has also targeted US bases in Kuwait, reportedly damaging a Chinook helicopter. The situation remains volatile, with no immediate resolution in sight.
