A series of major incidents has drawn attention across India. In Unnao, a horrific road accident took place on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway after a bus traveling from Delhi to Bihar overturned, reportedly because the driver fell asleep. The crash killed six people and left at least ten others injured. Rescue teams rushed to the spot and the injured were shifted to hospitals for treatment. Meanwhile, in Rajgir, panic erupted during the Malmas fair after a man fell from a giant amusement ride. Though he survived, his condition remains critical and he was referred to a hospital in Patna. The incident has once again raised concerns about poor safety arrangements at fairs. Adding to public concerns, residents of Delhi-NCR were hit by another fuel price increase as CNG rates rose by ₹2 per kilogram, taking the new price to ₹83.09 per kg. Auto drivers and commuters expressed frustration, saying repeated fuel hikes are severely affecting their livelihoods and daily expenses.
