Kabul Burning: Over 400 Dead in Kabul After Pakistan’s Biggest Air Attack

Amid the ongoing regional conflict, tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan have escalated sharply. In what is being described as its biggest attack so far, Pakistan carried out massive airstrikes in Kabul, targeting at least five locations. Reports suggest that over 400 people have been killed and more than 250 injured. The strikes were conducted using JF-17 Thunder and F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft. Visuals from Kabul show massive flames and thick black smoke covering the sky. Key targets reportedly included areas near the Afghan Defense Ministry, intelligence headquarters, the presidential palace, and residential neighborhoods. A major tragedy unfolded near Kabul International Airport, where a rehabilitation hospital was hit, causing severe destruction and fire. Pakistan has released thermal imaging footage claiming the strikes targeted ammunition depots, while Afghanistan insists civilian areas were deliberately attacked. Afghanistan has condemned the attack as inhumane and a “crime against humanity.” Meanwhile, Afghan cricket star Rashid Khan also criticized the strikes, urging a UN investigation and justice for the victims.
