Israel–Iran Conflict: Israel and Iran Halt Attacks Amid Diplomatic Pressure, Tensions Remain High

After a fresh round of hostilities between Israel and Iran, the situation appears to have temporarily stabilized, with no new attacks reported in the past 24 hours. The pause comes after U.S. President Donald Trump reportedly urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to avoid further military action against Iran. Netanyahu later stated that Israel had suspended its attacks on Iran, although operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon would continue. On the Iranian side, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also confirmed that it had stopped launching missile attacks. However, Tehran warned that the fragile calm would last only if Israel refrains from bombing Hezbollah positions in Lebanon. According to U.S. media reports, Trump cautioned Netanyahu that Israel could become isolated in confronting Iran if tensions escalated further. Although Israel carried out strikes despite earlier warnings, Trump claimed that the scope of the military response was ultimately limited through diplomatic efforts.
