Breaking News: Vladimir Putin To Visit India For BRICS Summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to visit India in September to attend the BRICS Summit scheduled for September 12–13. This will be Putin’s second visit to India within a year and his second trip in just 10 months, after attending the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit in New Delhi last December. The visit highlights the growing strategic ties between India and Russia. Meanwhile, in Nainital, tourists visiting the Bhimtal area were caught on CCTV allegedly stealing a bag of paneer kept outside a shop. The accused were seen inspecting milk crates before one of them returned and fled with the bag, sparking anger among local traders who demanded strict action. In another incident from Pakistan, a major road accident occurred in Khanewal after a police van driving on the wrong side collided head-on with a loader tempo. Several police personnel and a suspect in custody were seriously injured in the crash.
