Amid rising tensions between the United States and Iran, a new report on America’s military campaign “Operation Epic Fury” has revealed major losses suffered by U.S. forces. According to a report presented in the U.S. Congress, the operation resulted in the destruction of 42 aircraft, including four F-15E and F-35A fighter jets, A-10 Thunderbolt aircraft, seven KC-135 refueling planes, several helicopters, and 24 drones. The total cost of the operation against Iran is estimated at 29 billion U.S. dollars. Meanwhile, U.S. Vice President JD Vance stated that America has prepared a “Plan B,” which could involve restarting military operations against Iran if negotiations fail. However, he also said Washington wants to improve relations with Iran after decades of hostility. In response, Iranian official Ebrahim Azizi claimed that U.S. President Donald Trump is hesitant because of Iran’s military strength and warned of a strong retaliation against any future attack.
