A major security incident unfolded near the White House after a suspected attacker, identified as 21-year-old Nasir Best, allegedly opened fire near the premises. According to reports, the suspect fired nearly 25 to 30 rounds close to a Secret Service checkpoint, causing panic among journalists and officials present at the location. Several reporters were seen taking cover as chaos spread across the area. At the time of the incident, U.S. President Donald Trump was reportedly inside the Oval Office holding meetings related to ongoing tensions with Iran and possible diplomatic negotiations. The Secret Service immediately activated emergency protocols and escorted Trump to a secure location. In the retaliatory action, security personnel shot the suspect, who later died in hospital. The incident has raised serious concerns about security arrangements around the White House, especially as it comes shortly after another reported firing scare linked to Trump events earlier this year.
