Amid the ongoing regional tensions, a major escalation has been reported between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The Pakistani military has carried out one of its biggest airstrikes so far, targeting the Afghan capital Kabul. According to reports, airstrikes were conducted at five locations across the city, resulting in over 400 deaths and more than 250 injuries. The attack reportedly involved the use of advanced fighter jets, including the F-16 Fighting Falcon and JF-17 Thunder. Heavy explosions and massive fires were seen across Kabul, with thick smoke rising into the sky. Sources indicate that the strikes targeted areas near the Afghan Defense Ministry, intelligence headquarters, and even residential neighborhoods close to the Presidential Palace. A rehabilitation hospital near Kabul International Airport was also hit, causing severe damage and casualties. While Pakistan claims the strikes were aimed at weapons depots, visuals suggest significant civilian impact. This marks the fourth major strike on Kabul in recent weeks, further intensifying the conflict that began on February 22.
