Breaking News: Iran Expands Attacks Across Gulf, Oil Facilities Hit as War Intensifies

On day 37 of the escalating Middle East conflict, Iran widened its offensive by targeting key energy infrastructure across the Gulf. A major strike hit Bahrain’s largest oil refinery, operated by BAPCO, triggering massive explosions and an uncontrollable fire. Thick smoke engulfed the facility, raising fears of prolonged damage and disruption to global oil supplies. Simultaneously, Iran launched attacks on Kuwait’s energy sector, with the Shuaikh oil complex severely damaged and engulfed in flames. Despite active air defense systems, several Iranian missiles and drones reportedly penetrated defenses and struck critical installations. In response, US and Israeli forces intensified airstrikes on Iran, including a major attack on Tehran’s Shahid Beheshti University, reportedly targeting a research center. Iran claimed multiple universities have been hit during the conflict. Meanwhile, Iran retaliated with missile and drone strikes on Tel Aviv and Ben Gurion Airport, in coordination with allied groups. The conflict continues to expand regionally, with rising casualties, infrastructure destruction, and increasing fears of a prolonged and more destructive war.
