Former U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran is eager to reach an agreement with the United States and that the ongoing conflict with Iran could end soon. He also asserted that the U.S. possesses the world’s most powerful military and referenced past operations in Venezuela to highlight American strength. Trump warned that Iran must be prevented from developing nuclear weapons, saying that without intervention it could acquire nuclear capability, which he claims has been stopped. Meanwhile, reports suggest renewed diplomatic efforts between Iran and the United States, with discussions being explored through indirect channels. Pakistan is reportedly playing a mediating role, with its military leadership, including Field Marshal Asim Munir, visiting Tehran to facilitate dialogue and discuss broader regional issues. Iran has appointed a foreign ministry spokesperson to handle negotiation-related communication. However, conflicting statements persist, as Iranian officials have denied any immediate progress, saying that a deal with the U.S. is still far away. Despite ongoing mediation efforts and diplomatic activity, no final agreement or breakthrough has been reached yet, and negotiations remain uncertain.
