Bahrain Amazon Site Struck In IRGC’s 90th Wave Of Operation True Promise 4

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had launched the third phase of the 90th wave of Operation “True Promise 4”, announcing that Amazon’s cloud computing centre in Bahrain had been struck as the first target among American technology companies.

Multiple Targets Hit In ‘Punitive Operation’

In a statement, the IRGC said the operation was carried out under the code “Ya Man Huwa Shadid al-Eqab” and as part of the ongoing 90th wave of “True Promise 4”. It added that, along with the strike on Amazon’s infrastructure in Bahrain, seven air bases belonging to the U.S. Air Force and the Israeli regime were also targeted in what it described as a punitive operation — one the IRGC called “a night of nightmares for American terrorists.”

Allegations Against US, Israel

The statement accused the United States and Israel of resorting to assassinations, attacks on officials’ homes, and targeting families and civilians after facing setbacks on the battlefield. It said the IRGC had earlier warned that continued actions of this nature would lead to American information technology and artificial intelligence companies being placed on its target list.

‘First Practical Warning’ To Tech Firms

According to the statement, the strike on Amazon’s cloud centre in Bahrain was intended as the first practical warning to those companies and their backers. The IRGC also claimed that the facility was destroyed in the attack and said that, according to the company’s own statement, Amazon is now in the process of leaving the region.

Warning Of Further Escalation

The statement warned that if the assassinations continue, other companies previously identified would face heavier strikes. It added that responsibility for their complete destruction in the region would lie with the President of the United States.

Operation Ongoing, IRGC Says

The IRGC concluded by stating that the 90th wave of Operation “True Promise 4” is still underway and will continue until greater pressure is exerted on the United States and Israel.
