Thousands of users reported outages affecting Facebook, Instagram and Facebook Messenger on Friday morning, disrupting access to some of Meta’s most widely used social media platforms.
Several users in India also reported that the Facebook is now working while few users are also complaining about Instagram. Meanwhile, the USA Today reported citing outage-tracking website Downdetector, more than 93,000 users had reported issues with Facebook by around 9:45 am ET.
Downdetector’s outage pages for Instagram and Facebook Messenger were themselves unavailable at one point on Friday morning, displaying a 404 error message as of around 10 am ET.
