Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has responded to Biocon Ltd Executive Chairperson Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw's suggestion that he acknowledge the science behind vaccine development, rather than engage in retrospective blame.

The Karnataka CM does not appear willing to step aside. His opponents, both within the party and outside, have been biding their time, waiting for an opportunity to strike.
