The exams are conducted in four sessions in a year in the months of January, May, July and November.

The Bombay High Court granted bail to Delhi-based researcher Rona Wilson and activist Sudhir Dhawale, arrested in the Elgar Parishad-Maoist links case in 2018, stating the trial in the case was yet to start.
