SA20 Player Auction Done: Full Squads Revealed

The auction for the 2025-26 edition of SA20, the domestic T20 franchise cricket league of South Africa, just like the Indian Premier League is in India, has wrapped up.

The six-team competition features sister teams of the IPL franchises – Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Lucknow Super Giants. While Indian players do not participate in it, or any other domestic franchise competitions for that matter, many other international stars do.

Notably, Dewald Brevis, who played a striking cameo for CSK in the last few games of IPL’s 2025 season, was bought for a record-breaking R16.5 million (approximately $945,000) by the Pretoria Capitals in the latest SA20 auctions.
