Imagicaaworld has approved a strategic investment of up to INR 100 crore in Shanku’s Water Park in Mehsana, strengthening the company’s expansion plans across regional leisure and tourism markets in India.

Located near Ahmedabad, Shanku’s Water Park is spread across more than 25 acres and features over 25 rides and attractions. The destination serves catchment markets including Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Mehsana and surrounding regions, positioning it as one of Gujarat’s established organised water park destinations.

According to the company, the investment will be made through a mix of equity and debt funding and will also support future expansion opportunities on adjoining land parcels. The park has recently undergone renovation and infrastructure upgrades, including advanced water filtration systems comparable to those used at Imagicaa’s flagship property in Khopoli.

As part of the agreement, Imagicaaworld will provide end-to-end operations and management services across park operations, guest experience, safety systems, food and beverage operations and revenue optimisation. The company will earn a management fee ranging between 6% and 10%.

The development forms part of Imagicaaworld’s broader strategy to expand beyond destination-led parks into scalable and higher-margin regional entertainment formats. The company said Gujarat remains a priority market due to rising discretionary spending, improving connectivity and increasing demand for organised family entertainment.

The expansion announcement comes alongside the company’s Q4FY26 financial performance update, where revenue from operations stood at INR 91.9 crore. Footfalls across its existing parks increased 5% year-on-year to 6.21 lakh visitors, reflecting continued consumer demand across the leisure segment.

Commenting on the development, Jai Malpani said, “This transaction represents an important milestone in Imagicaaworld’s growth strategy as we deepen our footprint in Gujarat, one of India’s fastest growing leisure and tourism markets.”

He added that Shanku’s Water Park benefits from strong regional recognition and is strategically positioned within close proximity to Ahmedabad and GIFT City, supporting both tourism and commercial demand.

The company said the partnership structure will enable it to leverage operational expertise and brand capabilities to improve guest experiences, increase footfalls and support long-term growth in the Gujarat market.
