With a perfectly toned body, Malaika Arora proves that age is indeed just a number. The Bollywood diva continues to set benchmarks with her holistic approach to fitness and mindfulness. The actress opened up about her fitness secrets and revealed that the key to her toned physique is following the right diet, doing versatile workouts, and, above all, staying disciplined.

During an interview with fellow actor Soha Ali Khan on her podcast All About Her, Malaika Arora revealed that her fitness philosophy is based on three basic rules – sleep, nutrition and mind-body connection. “I’ll be 50, but I feel I don’t… It’s just age for me. For Malaika Arora, Nutrition Is The Key To Fitness

Malaika Arora believes that what you eat matters the most. During the interview, the actress revealed that her approach to food is rooted in simplicity. “Eat basic, home-cooked meals. Ghee is my superfood. Sleep, water, discipline, consistency – taking care of these things makes a huge difference in your life, and I truly live by certain principles in life,” she shared.

Malaika explained that she practices portion control and never starves herself. After a good workout session, she generally prefers a plate full of home-cooked meals like toast, eggs and dosas rather than supplements. And whenever she wants to have a protein shake, it is made with banana, dates, and nuts. “I don’t really believe in powder,” she added.

Malaika Arora Believes In Smart Eating

Malaika stressed the importance of finding balance in your fitness journey and believes that starving is never an option. “Do not starve. And I carry food… everything gets carried because that’s how I am,” she shared, while also explaining that she avoids working out on a full stomach. “I don’t work out on a full stomach… I wake up early. I work out, and then I eat a full meal,” she added.

Malaika Arora Prefers To Do A Variety Of Exercises

During the interview, Malaika shared that she loves to do yoga and pair it up with high-intensity interval training (HIIT) exercises. She also likes to incorporate different forms of workouts, including Pilates, strength training, and full-body workouts, to keep herself in shape and stay fit.
