Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations 2025: Ganesh Chaturthi, also called Ganeshotsav, Vinayaka Chaturthi, or Gowri Habba, is one of the most widely celebrated Hindu festivals. It marks the birth of Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed god of wisdom, prosperity, and good fortune.

The festival lasts for 10 days, starting on the fourth day of the moon cycle, Chaturthi, when devotees install Ganesha idols in their homes and public spaces. The celebration concludes with the grand Visarjan, when the idols are immersed in rivers, lakes, or the sea, symbolising Ganesha’s return to his celestial abode.
