Athiya Shetty returns Post-Motherhood in dreamy ivory Anamika Khanna ensemble

After welcoming her baby daughter Evaarah earlier this year with husband KL Rahul, Athiya Shetty made her first public appearance since motherhood at Bvlgari’s Serpenti Infinito Exhibition in Mumbai. On April 18, the couple had announced their little one’s name on Instagram, and ever since, the actress had kept away from the public eye. Her return was nothing short of graceful, marked by a look that exuded understated glamour and romantic charm.

For the evening, Athiya chose a breathtaking Anamika Khanna creation in ivory, a colour that perfectly complemented her delicate, minimal style. The ensemble featured a high-neck, long-sleeved cropped jacket adorned with intricate threadwork, soft ruffle accents at the collar and cuffs, and dainty fringes cascading from the waistline. The detailing lent the outfit a feminine, whimsical edge. She paired the jacket with a high-waisted, sculpted skirt in the same shade, cinched at the sides to create a fluid yet structured silhouette. The skirt’s floor-length hemline swept gracefully behind her, adding movement and drama to the otherwise serene outfit.

Athiya kept her accessories refined and minimal, letting the outfit take centre stage. A pair of delicate floral diamond earrings with emerald detailing served as the focal point, while a small clutch completed the look.

Athiya opted for a pulled-back bun, nude-pink eyes and lips, and a barely-there glow. With subtly defined brows and a natural finish, her makeup perfectly complemented the ethereal feel of the ivory ensemble without overpowering it.

This look ticks every box of timeless, romantic dressing from ruffles and dainty fringes to the soft monochrome palette and minimal accessorising. The key highlight is movement, seen in the fringed waistline and gently ruched layers of the skirt.

For those inspired to recreate a similar aesthetic, the formula is simple: keep accessories minimal, embrace monochrome tones in ivory or pastel hues, and add delicate details like lace, ruffles, or fringe for that dreamy finish.

Athiya Shetty, daughter of actor Suniel Shetty, made her Bollywood debut in 2015 with Hero and went on to star in Mubarakan, Nawabzaade, and Motichoor Chaknachoor. Married to Indian cricketer KL Rahul in 2023, the actress continues to be admired for her effortless elegance and her latest appearance only reaffirms her signature style of soft, minimal glamour.
