YOUTH PROTEST: NSUI & Youth Congress Rally Outside NTA, Demand Action Over NEET Leak

A major protest erupted in the national capital as Youth Congress and NSUI activists staged demonstrations against the alleged NEET paper leak, intensifying pressure on the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the Union Education Ministry. Protesters gathered outside the NTA headquarters in Delhi carrying symbolic props, including chains and locks, while demanding strict action and institutional accountability over repeated examination irregularities. The agitation also extended to areas near the Education Minister’s residence, where Youth Congress workers staged a separate protest. During the demonstration, activists used symbolic gestures such as throwing fake currency notes in the air to express anger over what they described as the “commercialisation and collapse” of the examination system. The protest quickly drew attention as large crowds of party workers assembled under the leadership of senior youth leaders. Demonstrators accused the government and examination authorities of failing to prevent repeated paper leak incidents, which they claim have severely impacted the future of lakhs of students across the country. Protesters also demanded the resignation of the Education Minister, holding the leadership responsible for alleged systemic failures in conducting fair examinations. Visuals from the protest sites showed activists carrying banners, posters, and symbolic visuals highlighting student distress, including references to reported cases of mental health crises among aspirants. Security personnel intervened at multiple locations, detaining several protesters and dispersing crowds as tensions escalated. According to protest leaders, the demonstrations were aimed at drawing urgent attention to the need for reforms in the national examination system and ensuring transparency in competitive exams such as NEET. The agitation reflects growing student and political unrest over recurring allegations of paper leaks and irregularities in high-stakes entrance examinations.
