SIR Row Deepens: Akhilesh Alleges BJP-EC Nexus, Mamata Warns of Rising Deaths

Akhilesh Yadav has intensified his attack on the BJP, alleging that the Election Commission is working in coordination with the ruling party during the SIR process. He claims that in constituencies where the Samajwadi Party performed strongly in 2024, a conspiracy is underway to remove more than 5,000 votes from each seat. Akhilesh also accuses the government of deliberately conducting SIR during the wedding season so people remain busy and cannot verify their names. Meanwhile, Mamata Banerjee has raised serious concerns about rising deaths linked to SIR-related pressure, questioning how many more lives will be lost if the process continues unchecked.
