Political Row: Uproar In Parliament During Question Hour, House Adjourned Till 12 PM

Parliament witnessed intense chaos during Question Hour as opposition members raised urgent issues and demanded time to speak during Zero Hour. The Speaker repeatedly urged MPs to return to their seats, assuring them that time would be given after Question Hour. However, protests continued, forcing the Chair to state that nothing would go on record amid the disruption. During the proceedings, MP Geeta Alai Chandra Prabha attempted to raise public concerns related to the stoppage of trains at Bharthana (Etawah) and Achalda, Dibiyapur, and Kanchausi railway stations since the COVID period, stating that it had negatively impacted local residents. Due to continuous sloganeering and disruption, Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned till 12 PM. Similar scenes of protest were also witnessed in Rajya Sabha. Meanwhile, BJP women MPs reportedly wrote to the Speaker, praising his conduct during recent disruptions. BJP MP Malvika Devi said Speaker Om Birla protected parliamentary democracy with restraint, especially during earlier incidents where MPs allegedly climbed onto tables and crossed designated seating areas, calling such behaviour inappropriate.
