Political News: TMC Alleges ED Misconduct During I-PAC Office Raid; Complaint Filed

A political confrontation has intensified in West Bengal as the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has filed a complaint against the Enforcement Directorate (ED) over its raid on the I-PAC office. TMC officials, including senior leaders, alleged that the ED obstructed police work during the operation and also seized or “stole” crucial documents. The party claims these actions were politically motivated, targeting allies and supporters ahead of upcoming elections. The complaint, submitted by TMC leaders, seeks investigation into the alleged misconduct and emphasizes that such interference hampers both law enforcement and democratic processes. The issue has added fuel to ongoing tensions between the TMC and the central government, with party leaders demanding accountability and warning against further misuse of investigative agencies for political purposes.
