POLITICAL CONTROVERSY: Kangana Ranaut Faces Congress Protest Over ‘Gutter Generation’ Remark on Gen Z Women

Congress has launched protests against BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut over her controversial remarks targeting the younger generation of women protesting at Jantar Mantar. Kangana had described the protesting women as “Gen Z” and allegedly used the phrase “gutter generation” in an Instagram post, triggering political backlash. Women Congress workers in several cities, including Lucknow and Bhopal, have held demonstrations and burnt effigies of Kangana, demanding that she apologise for her comments. Protesters raised slogans against her and accused her of disrespecting the youth and women of the country. AIMIM leader Waris Pathan also criticised Kangana, saying she should not compare herself with Rani of Jhansi and should apologise publicly. He accused her of making disrespectful statements for publicity. Meanwhile, Kangana has remained firm on her remarks and has not withdrawn her comments. The controversy has intensified, with Congress continuing its protests and demanding an apology from the BJP MP.
