NEET PAPER LEAK: Supreme Court Petition Demands Re-Exam Under Judicial Supervision

A major development has emerged in the death case of Prateek Yadav, as Lucknow Civil Hospital authorities have officially confirmed that he was brought dead to the hospital early in the morning. The statement from the hospital’s Chief Medical Superintendent (CMS) has intensified questions surrounding the sudden and mysterious death of the 38-year-old son of late Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav. According to the CMS, Prateek Yadav was brought to Civil Hospital at approximately 6:55 AM. Doctors immediately examined his vital signs, including pulse rate, heart activity, and ECG response, but found no signs of life. He was subsequently declared dead on arrival, commonly referred to medically as “brought dead.” Hospital authorities stated that police were immediately informed after the declaration. Following legal formalities and a panchnama procedure, the body was shifted to KGMU for postmortem examination under official supervision. The CMS further clarified that Prateek Yadav had already passed away before reaching the hospital and no treatment process could begin. Doctors reportedly received limited information regarding his prior medical condition at the time he was brought in. Officials also confirmed that several people accompanied him to the hospital, including close family members and associates. This confirmation has added another layer of mystery to the case, as questions continue to grow over what exactly happened at the residence before he was rushed to the hospital. Sources indicate that his health suddenly deteriorated at home before he was transported for emergency medical care. Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party has demanded a high-level investigation, emphasizing that the unexpected death of a fitness-conscious individual at such a young age requires complete transparency. The postmortem examination at KGMU has already been completed, and the initial findings are expected to emerge soon.
