NEET Paper Leak Hearing: Centre Assures Supreme Court of Strong Reforms, Next Hearing on August 3

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta informed the court that the government’s response was ready but requested additional time, stating that several major steps were being planned in the near future. The government told the court that the recommendations of the Radhakrishnan Committee would be implemented and that it intended to go beyond those suggestions with stronger measures to make the examination system more secure. The Supreme Court observed that it also wanted a more robust and transparent system and granted the government time to present detailed information. The next hearing has been scheduled for August 3. Meanwhile, attention remains focused on the proposed meeting between the government and CJP over the ongoing student protest. Talks were scheduled at 12:30 pm at the Constitution Club of India, but uncertainty remained as neither government representatives nor CJP members had arrived at the venue at the expected time.
