Mohan Bhagwat Urges India To Strengthen Self-Reliance And Unity Amid Global Challenges

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat emphasized the need for India to become stronger, self-reliant, and united in the face of growing global instability. Speaking on recent international developments, he highlighted how power is concentrated in a few hands, wealth inequality is rising, and exploitative systems threaten human welfare and environmental balance. Observing unrest in neighboring regions such as the Himalayas, Bangladesh, and Nepal, Bhagwat pointed out that instability in these areas directly impacts India due to cultural, economic, and strategic ties.He stressed the importance of swadeshi practices, self-reliant lifestyles, and promoting local industries to reduce dependence on external powers. While advocating for self-sufficiency, he also emphasized maintaining international relations with goodwill and judgment rather than compulsion. He noted that history shows violent upheavals rarely achieve lasting change, making disciplined, constructive efforts essential for sustainable development.Bhagwat further praised India’s growing patriotism and faith in its cultural values, highlighting the role of organizations like the RSS and other social institutions in serving marginalized communities. He said these efforts offer hope that India can navigate global uncertainties while fostering internal harmony, cultural pride, and collective responsibility for the welfare of all citizens.
